We are thrilled to announce that Prof. Dr. Emiliano Santarnecchi has joined Bottneuro as our new scientific advisor to support us in bringing personalized, non-invasive electrical stimulation therapy for Alzheimer's to patients!
Prof. Santarnecchi is a world-renowned neuroscientist with over 15 years of experience in the field. He is currently an Associate Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School and the Director of the Precision Neuroscience & Neuromodulation Program at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. His research focuses on the use of non-invasive brain stimulation techniques to enhance cognitive and motor functions in healthy individuals and patients with neurological disorders.
With Prof. Santarnecchi's guidance, we aim to accelerate the development of our non-invasive electrical stimulation therapy for Alzheimer's. The therapy targets affected brain regions to enhance activity through precise stimulation, aiming to slow the disease's progression and improve cognitive function in patients.
We believe that this mutually beneficial collaboration has the potential to transform the way we treat Alzheimer's disease and improve the lives of millions of patients and their families. We are grateful for the opportunity to work together with Prof. Santarnecchi to make this vision a reality.
